How to add a shop to your Facebook and Instagram page
Would you like to start selling your products on Facebook? If you have the shop tab available to you on your Facebook business page, keep reading and you could be set up within in minutes.
1. Open The Shop
Select the shop tab on the left-hand side of your Facebook page, you will receive a message like this:
Check the box “I agree to the Merchant Terms and Policies”.
2. Choose Where To Sell From
The next window that opens up is this one:
you can click on either of these for but this post, let’s use the “Check Out on Another Website (assuming you have an e-commerce website).
3. Start Adding Products
Go to All products and add a product. Go over to your website (because this is where all your products are listed in the shop) and select a product and save an image of it. Go back to your Facebook shop and add the photo you saved from your site, and copy and paste the name and description from your website. Copy the link from the website where the product is located and put in the price. This will ensure that when people navigate from your Facebook shop to your e-commerce site, they will know they're in the right place, making them feel confident in your products.
4. Add the rest!
Do this with all of your products and you can save them all as ‘unpublished’. Once the shop is set up, you can then click publish
You can group products as collections if you want to. You can also change the visibility of a product
Make sure your Facebook page is synced to your Instagram page (if you have one). You can then share the Facebook shop across to your Instagram page
